Why do you need dermal fillers?

Everyone has a natural, thin layer of fat just underneath their skin that fulfills important jobs, including providing a cushion for facial skin. This fat adds just enough volume to make your face look healthy and to minimize lines and wrinkles.

What dermal fillers are offered by Dr. Stuart?

Dr. Stuart offers several different dermal fillers, which are all injected just beneath the skin, but have slightly different qualities. For example, one may be softer than the other, so it may be preferred for lips.

Juvéderm®: Juvederm dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, which is naturally produced in your skin and adds volume and moisture. Juvéderm treats lines and wrinkles on your face, especially around your nose and mouth.

Juvéderm® Voluma XC: This dermal filler is like the other Juvederm products in that it’s made from hyaluronic acid, but it’s specifically designed to target the cheeks, adding volume and lift that may last up to 2 years.

Restylane®: Restylane products are made from hyaluronic acid plus small particles that help add volume. They’re used to diminish facial wrinkles and folds, enhance lips, and add volume to cheeks.
